I like to fly fish. In the past I would buy a real expensive wooden fishing net then leave it on the shore and the cycle would begin again. Having a rubber net is important as most of my fishing is catch and release so I don't want to hurt the fish with a scratchy net. The price of this net was almost too good to be true given my past experience purchasing nets like these so I had to get it to see if it would work for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is a very sturdy framed and nice looking net. The netting itself is just as I had before and will be good for the fish. Unless you are looking for a fishing net with exotic wood that you can show off at the lodge, this one for the money is a perfect substitute.
it cleans very light the net with a good depth and seems to be very resistant , wood with a perfect finish
I love the wood look of this net. It has a high end look and feel about it. It’s put together really well. I like the rubber netting. It’s different. It has a little stretch to it which I can see is why it can be better for fishing. I haven’t had a chance to use this yet because it’s winter time and to cold for me to fish. I’m not the one to go out ice fishing that’s for sure. Either way I love this net and the price it great for something like this. It is a good size and will work great for bass bluegill which is what I mainly fish. I would definitely recommend getting this net. So far it’s the best one that I’ve come across.
Better quality than expected! recommend!
I've been wanting one of these rubber-net nets for awhile, as it doesn't scratch up the fish when you net it. This rubber is soft, and when wet, is probably as soft on the fish as possible. Plus, once in the water, is almost invisible. The craftsmanship on the wood frame is beautiful, and could easily pass for one of the more expensive nets. I see no reason not to give this new five stars.
