Good foam, weak attachment

I think the molded foam and the size are perfect. But the pin-attachment mechanism is weak. On the second day of use, it failed, and the 10 flies mounted on it, as well as the patch itself, are gone. I’m thinking of ordering a second one but upfitting it with strong Velcro that will attach to my chest pack like its original fly patch.
